“The Medium” opera to open in Byrum Hall

Third annual AU Storytelling Month underway
Throughout the month of February, students, faculty and alumni have the chance to put their writing skills to the test. The third annual AU Storytelling Month kicked off this past Saturday where writers began the challenge of writing 500 words a day for the whole month. Black Bird Film Festival to return to campus for fourth consecutive year

Light Bulb Artist Management begins on campus
If you are a current, creative mind on campus, the newly created artist management company Light Bulb Artist Management may be worth keeping on your radar. The company, which has quickly grown to a roster of four genre-spanning artists, originated from music business students Austin Hostetler and Abigail Stamper last semester. Wilson Gallery to welcome “The Familial Gaze”
Beginning Friday, Jan. 24, the Wilson Gallery will be welcoming the mixed-media artwork of Tyanna Buie. The exhibit, which is titled “The Familial Gaze,” will be welcomed with an opening reception from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Jan. 24. Buie herself will be attending the reception to speak about her work.
