Maubach dives into head coaching position
Emma Maubach, a 2020 graduate of Anderson University, was recently named interim head coach of the Ravens swim and dive team. Maubach, a swimmer herself, was a freshman at Anderson during the team’s first ever swim season in 2016. Maubach swam breaststroke and backstroke during her four years at Anderson and began swimming more distance races for the Ravens during her junior and senior seasons. Fresh faces to lead AU sports teams
Along with the new faculty and staff on campus, a plethora of new coaches joined the Ravens this year. COVID-19 continues to affect campus athletics
One of the places that has experienced the most challenges due to COVID-19 is the sports world. At times, athletes have been disheartened by the uncertainty of each practice or game, and those in leadership positions struggle to find a balance between giving the athletes some normalcy while keeping everyone safe. New athlete ministry combines faith, community and service
Next fall, campus ministries will begin partnering with athletes and sports fans on campus to create a ministry centered around the conjunction of sports and faith.
