New semester, new staff!

January 20, 2016 by Andersonian Staff

This is my third semester on staff with the Andersonian, but my first in such an important position. While I am slightly intimidated by the responsibilities this position holds, I am so looking forward to the semester ahead. The staff of writers, editors and designers we have this semester are absolutely amazing and I can’t wait to see the great work that we’ll do in the weeks to come.

—Beth Stark, Co-Editor

Hello to those of you who read this column! I am humbled and honored to be a part of the leadership on the Andersonian this semester. All I have to say is, if you would like to contribute to the Andersonian, feel free to shoot me an email at famiddleton@anderson.edu. We welcome newcomers and I get especially excited when people want to write alongside us. Also, email me with ideas and feedback if you have any suggestions on how we could better serve the AU community with news and important stories. We are thankful for your readership!

—Faith Middleton, Co-Editor

I’m from Mitchell, Indiana, which doesn’t mean much to most people. But every now and then someone recognizes the town, and I get a little excited. It’s kind of like that with AU. Of all the places I could have gone to school, I am so happy that I chose AU. I couldn’t have picked a better place to make the lifelong memories that go along with college. Maybe someday I’ll even make it in the newspaper. Who knows, a small town girl can dream, right?

—Nikki Edrington, Associate Editor

Hello, and allow me to introduce myself—I’m Ethan, and I’m a junior English major. After returning from a semester-long sojourn in Dublin, Ireland, I am coming back for my second semester on the Andersonian staff. I was the sports editor last spring, but this semester, I am an associate editor (which sounds much more authoritative). Make sure to read all of our articles and all. We’re proud of this thing.

—Ethan Utterback, Associate Editor
