Here we are. This is it. I have made it (both finally and, seemingly, in the blink of an eye) to the end of my college career. Many things have changed in my life throughout the course of college, although I regret to inform you all that I have failed to achieve my one goal (that is, to obtain my MRS degree). Regardless of these shortcomings, I am entering my final semester with the Andersonian empowered and thankful for the time I have spent in this office, where I have learned many ways not to do things. I have, of course, also learned how to pour myself fully into something while knowing fully that I cannot prevent the inevitable reality of imperfection. And I am okay with that. (Oh, also: welcome to campus!)

Welcome back to campus! I can’t believe another school year has begun, which means another summer has ended, which means I once again am reflecting on, and somewhat regretting, the copious amounts of watermelon with salt (try it, seriously) and popsicles that I consumed. I am so excited to be back, but am even more excited that this is my last year that I have to encounter Rodney the Raven. Let me be the first to admit that I am still terrified of mascots. But this year is about gowth, so maybe I’ll get over my 21-year long fear soon. Speaking of growth, I can’t wait to see where the Andersonian takes us this year. The community is unmatched, as you’ve all heard infinitely, and I am so blessed to do life with everyone at AU, begrugingly, even you, Rodney.

Greetings, children. I am pleased to announce my presence on the Andersonian editorial staff. I look very much forward to spending the year sharing with you the glorious wonders of life at the Harvard of the Midwest. I would like to take this opportunity to give a shoutout to a personal rolemodel of mine, the Boss Baby. May he reign forever.

Hello Ravens! I’m excited to be joining the Andersonian staff as the sports editor this year. I can’t wait to share my love of Anderson sports with all of you. Ever since winning the science fair in first grade, I have been dreaming of finding an outlet to share my knowledge even further. After 13 years, I’ve finally found it. That doesn’t really relate, I’m still just super stoked about it. While we’re on the subject, I also won class clown in high school, and Kiki told me that she loves me.
