Holiday greetings from the staff

December 5, 2018 by Andersonian Staff

This is not so much a greeting for me as it is a goodbye. It is, in fact, the last time that my name shall appear on the Andersonian staff list as “Editor in Chief.” It’s the last time my name will show up at all, probably. As weird as it is that I’ve actually reached the end of my college career, it is also so amazing that I’ve had the opportunity to grow as a writer, editor and leader in my seven semesters with the Andersonian. I’m grateful for this university and all that it has brought to my life. Merry Christmas, friends, and farewell from your now-retired Andersonian editor!
– Nikki Edrington, Editor in Chief

Another semester is coming to a close, and time seems to be flying faster than Santa’s reindeer on Christmas Eve. That was horrible, I know, but the only thing I am choosing to think about is the joys of Christmas, especially after my brain is fried from the amount of work put into the weeks leading up to finals. I can’t believe break is finally here, and the season for celebrating the greatest gift is upon us. I hope that after this long semester you can take the time to appreciate rest, drink some hot cocoa and watch a ridiculously cheesy, predictable and lovely Hallmark movie—you deserve it!
– Hannah Ader, Associate Editor

Well there goes another four months of my life. Somehow I did it, and somehow you did, too. I’m proud of you. We’re one semester closer to graduating, and we’re doing just fine. Look at us go. Now it’s almost time for a well-deserved break. Take good care of yourselves this Christmas season. Don’t forget to think of the little baby Jesus and how much he loves you. And remember that I love you, too. Wishing you happy finals and a happy Christmas. Until next year.
– Amalia Arms, Assistant Editor

What a wonderful semester it has been, popping up under your doors every two weeks. I hope that you were able to enjoy reading about all that Anderson University sports have to offer. Just because you won’t hear from me for a while doesn’t mean I’ll be gone forever. In the words of my good friend Frosty the Snowman, “I’ll be back again some day.” Until 2019, peace out Ravens.
– Jordan Yaney, Sports Editor
