On Monday, Jan. 12, President Pistole sent a COVID-19 email update stating that “You may not be on campus for classes, dining, attending campus events, etc. if you are not masked.”
The email also strongly recommended 3 ply surgical or KN95 masks for better protection against crowded indoor areas.
Looking ahead, Pistole added that Indiana Department of Health Commissioner Dr. Kris Box “reported that we should expect the spread of COVID to peak in the next ten to 14 days, and then decline rapidly.”
COVID -19 vaccines and boosters will not be offered on campus this semester, but tests will be available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays in the Reardon Auditorium lobby.
Vaccines and boosters are available free of charge and without an appointment at the Madison County Health Department located one mile from campus.
