Yesterday, Jan. 26, President Pistole and the COVID-19 Taskforce announced COVID-19 campus updates in an email.
“The mask requirement is being extended to Friday, Feb. 25 while we work to move past the current surge of COVID on campus, the surrounding county and state of Indiana,” the email said.
AU has also changed the definition of “fully vaccinated” under the guidance of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). A person must now have a booster shot along with a completed primary vaccine series.
Students and employees are asked to update their vaccination status at https://anderson.edu/coronavirus/.
Mandatory randomized testing will continue this semester for unvaccinated or partially vaccinated individuals.
