Both the men’s and women’s swim teams placed fourth in the HCAC invitational on Saturday. The men scored 20 points, good for a fourth-place tie with Hanover, while the women accumulated 61 points, giving them sole possession of fourth. Track and field season beginning with high expectations
The HCAC coaches poll was released for the upcoming track and field season, and expectations are high for the men’s and women’s teams. The men’s team was predicted to finish second in the conference and the women’s team finished fourth in the preseason poll. Ravens winning streak ends at hands of HCAC #1 Hanover
Sitting at 11-5 on the season, Anderson welcomed the Hanover College Panthers into an electric O.C. Lewis Gymnasium for a battle for first place in the HCAC. Hanover and Anderson both held 8-1 records in conference play entering Saturday’s game. Resilient Ravens continue battling adversity
A 5-10 record might not seem all that impressive on paper. A 1-6 start to conference play might not strike fear in the hearts of conference foes. That old cliché, “numbers never lie,” well, sometimes they do. After being ravaged by injuries, the resilient women’s basketball team has continued to battle each week while suffering through shortened rotations and freshman inexperience. The men’s and women’s swimming team traveled to Lexington, Ky this weekend, competing in the Transylvania Invitational. The men’s team accumulated 117 points, good for a seventh-place finish, while the girls finished with 48, placing them in eighth. Ravens unable to send seniors out on high note
After a long season filled with close defeats, flashes of potential, growing pains, and moral victories, the 2016 Ravens took the field one last time hoping to send their seniors out on a high note. Anderson hosted Manchester for senior day, a rematch of last year’s season finale which was riddled with tension and bad blood. AU athletics takes steps following program changes
After making the difficult decision to cut the golf and tennis teams, and the exciting decision to and lacrosse and swimming teams, AU is ready to continue moving its athletic program forward. Women’s team claims first Backyard Brawl Championship
For the first time in extramural history, the women’s team representative from Anderson University, No Punts Intended, won the Backyard Brawl.
