On September 30, Anderson University and its Career and Calling Department held the annual RavenEdge Career Fair in the Kardatzke Wellness Center (KWC). Apart from having around 50 employer stalls and a booth for taking professional headshots, this year’s fair introduced its career-readiness workshops to further equip students on their career journey.
There were four workshops in the KWC, each hosted by various AU faculty and professionals: the 60-Second Pitch workshop by marketing professor Emmett Dulaney, the Resume Learning Outcomes workshop by Lee Griffith and Laura Stull from the Psychology Department, the LinkedIN profile development workshop by business professor Anna Rasco, and a resume building workshop featuring various professionals providing feedback.
There was also a greater emphasis on student attendance at the fair, prompting several AU classes to make attending the fair mandatory, leading to almost 400 students checking into the fair.
