The absurd concept of dating Jesus

We’ve all heard the phrase “dating Jesus.” I will tell you why I am not now, nor will I ever be, dating Jesus. The modern-day concept of “dating” implies a romantic relationship, one in which people show affection for one another and spend time together. Dr. Hall visits to celebrate 69th year of Andersonian

On Thursday, Feb 11, exactly one week before the 69th anniversary of the Andersonian, Dr. Kenneth Hall, the founding editor of the student newspaper, came to visit and talk with current staff writers and editors. “It was neat to meet the guy who produced the first edition of the Andersonian,” said Ethan Utterback, current associate editor. AU community marches in honor of Selma march

Despite the freezing temperatures on Monday, many AU students, faculty, staff and Anderson community members ventured to the Paramount Theatre to participate in the 36th annual city-wide celebration of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Ms. Ashlee Davis, an Anderson native, was featured as the guest speaker at the celebration.
