Both swim teams competed last weekend at the second annual swimming and diving conference championships. The women’s team placed third out of six teams, and the men placed fourth. AU does not currently have a diving team, so they were unable to capture as many total team points as other conference schools. The women tallied 320 points, just 19 points behind Rose-Hulman. The ladies had the highest score for a team not receiving diving points. The men posted a score of 173.5, … [Read more...]
Basketball team rides hot streak into the tournament
After an up-and-down season, the men’s basketball team was able to finish strong by winning four games in a row out of five. The Ravens lost on the road to Defiance, the last-ranked team in the conference, before returning home to defeat top-ranked Hanover in a major upset. That sparked a streak where the men took down three teams who finished above them in the HCAC standings. On Saturday, they lost 96-89 in a close contest to third-ranked Transylvania, wrapping up their regular … [Read more...]
“Hits4Hope” challenge begins for AU’s baseball team
AU’s baseball team is gearing up for another season, but their focus this offseason has been on something larger. Head coach Matt Bair wanted to take things further this season. “A couple of years ago when I took the job at AU, I was introduced to this ministry here in town,” said Bair. “They provided us an … [Read more...]

They are also one win away from matching their win total from the last two seasons combined. The Ravens have been able to rely on a few freshmen phenoms early on this season. Point guard Lexi Dellinger, who has already received HCAC Player of the Week honors, … [Read more...]

In his time, he has taken the Ravens from an average and inconsistent team to a recurring force in the conference tournament.
