Swim team roster more than doubles in size this season

AU swimming has kicked off its third season in the pool and is looking to take the next step forward this year. Women’s basketball looks to right the ship this season

After a winless season last year, the women’s basketball program is ready to quiet the doubters and prove to AU that they are a new team. The squad has welcomed 15 freshmen to its roster to pair with eight returning upperclassmen.  The Ravens fought through an injury-plagued 2017-18 season, at one point playing with just six active players. Women’s tennis comeback season comes to an end

In their first season back in action, the AU women’s tennis team lost in the first round of the HCAC tournament Friday night. After starting their season 0-3, the ladies turned it around posting a 7-1 record in their last eight games to tie for second place in the conference. Ravens need a strong push to make the HCAC tournament

The women’s soccer team currently sits in sixth place in the HCAC table following a 3-0 loss to conference leading Hanover on Saturday. In order to make the postseason tournament, the Ravens must climb into one of the top four spots in the conference. With just two games remaining on their schedule, their odds are slim, but with strong play, the women can sneak in. Baseball concludes fall season with another Black and Orange World Series

Each year, the Raven’s baseball team has a four week period available to them for team activities per NCAA regulations. It is full of long days for the players, trying to improve as much as they can in the tight window. Football team prepares for a winnable stretch of games

The season has not started out great for the Ravens, posting a 1-4 record through the first half of their schedule. Coming off of a bye week, the team is ready to turn things around. Women’s soccer seeks consistency despite positive record

The women’s soccer team has finished its non-conference schedule with a 3-2-2 record after tying with Bethel College last Saturday. Despite solid play, the ladies failed to record back-to-back wins and went to overtime three times in their first seven games.  Coach Jennifer Myhre, now in her eighth year with the Ravens, challenged the team with a slew of road games to start out the season. Homecoming brings excitement for AU sports

Homecoming is a special time of year for all of AU, but it holds a special meaning for the fall sports teams. Alumni from different generations will make the trip home to watch their teams battle once more. Volleyball already seeing big turnaround in tournament play

Following a season where the team posted a 10-20 record, the volleyball team has seen improvement already during their first two tournaments.
