The women’s soccer team has finished its non-conference schedule with a 3-2-2 record after tying with Bethel College last Saturday. Homecoming brings excitement for AU sports
Homecoming is a special time of year for all of AU, but it holds a special meaning for the fall sports teams. Alumni from different generations will make the trip home to watch their teams battle once more. Volleyball already seeing big turnaround in tournament play
Following a season where the team posted a 10-20 record, the volleyball team has seen improvement already during their first two tournaments. Tennis returns to Anderson after a year off
AU has officially relaunched their men’s and women’s tennis programs after discontinuing them following the 2016-17 school year. Director of Tennis Bryant Beard will be coaching both programs, starting with the women’s team in the fall. The tennis program was discontinued as part of the university’s cuts during the 2017-18 school year. The football team will be kicking off their season Saturday at North Park University. It will be their first official game under rookie head coach Steve Rock. Anderson University’s original sports show “Raven Watch” has been named a finalist in the Sports Video Group national sports-media contest. The Andersonian product will be contending for recognition in the Outstanding Program Series, student-produced media division. After another HCAC doubleheader sweep, the Ravens have sole possession of second place in the conference, with a 9-1 record through 10 games. Anderson pounded Transylvania, scoring 29 runs in the two games. John Becker picked up the win in the 13-3 game one drubbing. Softball struggling but showing progress
The softball team just finished a hard weekend, losing a pair of double-headers to Transylvania and Thomas Moore. The Ravens entered the weekend with a .350 batting average and had scored with relative ease throughout the season. The bats cooled across the weekend tilt.
