Dr. Robert A. Nicholson, president emeritus of Anderson University, has passed away. He was 94. Nicholson served as president of the university from 1983-1990. Prior to his role as president, Nicholson attended Anderson College in the early 1940s and returned to the institution in 1945 to serve as a music instructor. President Donald Trump unexpectedly fired FBI Director James Comey on Tuesday. In the hours that followed, AU President John Pistole was named as a potential candidate to replace Comey. Anderson University receives bomb threat
President John Pistole addressed students and faculty at the end of chapel on Thursday, Feb. 25, informing chapel attendees that the university had received a bomb threat "within the last hour."
