Hollywood comes to Anderson

An aging rock star, after having left town following the death of his son, returns three years later to reconnect potentially with his estranged wife and others. That’s the idea behind a feature film, titled “Hellcat,” being produced and directed by Jack Lugar, professor of cinema and media arts at AU. Lugar started shooting the film this past summer. AU adds Knight to staff

Dijon Knight, 35, is joining the AU athletics staff as an assistant coach for the Men’s Basketball team and as the head coach for the Men’s Golf team. Knight replaces former Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach, Carter Collins who was just recently named the Interim Head Coach with Coach Owen Handy’s departure after 10 years at the helm. Men’s basketball team looks back on the season and ahead at what’s next

With the recent success of the men’s basketball team, head coach Owen Handy spoke into the process that led to such a victorious win over Hanover.  Handy explained that the team began the season with a focus on defense because they were offensively a work in progress.  “I feel like, as a team, we have grown in our offensive confidence and we have guys who have a great understanding of what we need to do well in order to be good,” said Handy.
