Dr. Lambright steadies the gaming ship

Campus to welcome Turning Point USA chapter

Provost Morris to resign after current school year

At the end of the current school year, Dr. Marie Morris will be resigning from her position as Provost at AU.   Morris was named provost in 2011 following a two-year role as dean and vice president of academic affairs on campus, and is currently serving her twelfth year at AU.   Morris spoke about her reasons for resigning, stating that she thinks, “there are different leaders at different times for an institution.”  “The average tenure for a chief academic officer, based … [Read more...]

Wilson Gallery welcomes modernist works

The Wilson Gallery has recently opened its exhibit showcasing items from AU’s permanent collection housed on campus. CAB focuses sights on student engagement

Amidst newly-introduced guidelines and mask mandates, CAB is anticipating another successful year of events on campus. Dance majors remain optimistic for coming year

Last school year ended in disappointment for many of the dance majors on campus. The cancellation of Spring into Dance, a professor-choreographed show put on by the dance department, stopped the senior dance majors from having their last chance to showcase their talents on the Reardon stage.   For dance majors who did not graduate last year, the optimism of another school year remained. Social clubs continue building community on campus

Tri-S trips canceled amidst growth of COVID-19

AU, along with countless other organizations and colleges, has recently had to cancel various planned events, trips and programs to counteract the growing COVID-19 epidemic that is rapidly stretching across the world. The growing concern over the virus has forced AU to declare numerous unexpected changes to students’ and staff’s spring break plans, most notably AU’s planned Tri-S trips. AU to honor women’s suffrage with centennial event
