Dr. Brian Dirck presents at conference in South Korea

On his office door is a name plaque that reads “Professor Bred Birk.” Dr. Brian Dirck’s name was translated from English to Korean and then back to English, and this was the result. Dates and location set for fall spiritual retreat

The fall spiritual retreat for next semester will be held at Epworth Forest, a conference center in northern Indiana, on October 5 and 6. Campus Pastor Tamara Shelton said that they haven’t picked a theme for the retreat yet, but it is likely to connect with next year’s chapel theme, which will be announced at both freshman orientation and opening chapel. “Retreats in the last several years have focused on taking time away from campus for personal reflection, rest, prayer and worship,” … [Read more...]

Gaithers contribute to School of Theology lounge

A group of undergraduate Christian ministry students, seminary students and faculty are working to renovate the lounge in the School of Theology and Christian Ministry. Spring play explores comedy and romance

Communications students travel to London

On March 15, six students headed to London on a Tri-S trip.  The trip was designed for students in the global communication class taught by Stefanie Leiter, Assistant Professor of public relations. Students lead worship for Vision Revision

Every semester, AU sets aside a week of chapels for students and faculty to experience Vision Revision. Anderson’s Alley Theatre puts a twist on Shakespeare

The Alley Theatre’s production of Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew premieres Thursday, March 14, at the Anderson Museum of Art. The production takes classic Shakespeare and gives it a narrative twist, recounting the story of love and trickery underneath a big- top tent. Student storytelling at Quoth the Raven

Tonight on stage in Reardon Auditorium, students will be sharing real stories of all kinds.  Quoth the Raven is an opportunity for students in the art of storytelling class to tell true stories from their lives.
