Somnium brings a new dream to AU

As the spring semester draws to a close, mixed in with the deadlines are the events on campus allowing a time of escape and activities to look forward to. This year, a newly refined event has combined the talents of AU students and a universal love of music: Somnium. “J. Eyre” takes center stage

Anderson University’s production of "J. Eyre" will hit the stage tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. in Byrum Hall. Based on Charlotte Brontë’s Jane Eyre, the story sees Jane grow in strength and confidence as she uses her wit and courage to navigate a world that afforded women few rights.  Those familiar with the original novel are likely to notice a few changes in this adaptation. Spring into Dance has fully bloomed

As Spring into Dance approaches, dance students are working hard in preparation for the show. In a performance choreographed by Anderson University’s dance faculty, dancers have to learn a delicate balance of long hours of rehearsals, training and practicing with the hectic class schedule and homework. Instagram accounts polarize students

What began as a lighthearted joke has become one of the most polarizing topics on campus: anonymous Instagram accounts. Accounts like “Overheard @ AU” and “Anderson University Squirrels” have existed peacefully on the social media platform as a way of promoting community and humor on campus through anonymously submitted overheard quotes and photos of AU’s squirrels, but a new account, “AU Bad Fits,” began a chain reaction of new accounts due to its controversy among students. First SMTD musical since 2019 opens this Friday

This Friday, Feb. 18, the Boze Lyric Theatre will bring the first musical production to Byrum Hall since the beginning of the pandemic.  “Seussical” combines a charming collection of characters from the works of Dr. Seuss like “Cat in the Hat” and “Horton the Elephant” in a colorful and exciting story. Candles and Carols spreads Christmas cheer from the School of Music, Theatre and Dance
