While attending AU, all students are afforded the opportunity to be an athlete. Food service prices rising
The cost of living is ever increasing, as are the costs of dining on AU’s campus. With those rising costs, however, have come several improvements to campus dining. Since last year, the cost of dining in the Marketplace has increased by an average of 42 percent. The highest price increase comes at breakfast, where the price rose from $5.25 last year to $7.99 this year, or by 52 percent. In addition to the highly-anticipated football game, theater production of “Gypsy,” and the street fair this homecoming weekend, AU students and alumni are invited to attend a musical performance starring the Wind and Jazz Ensembles. A member of Anderson University’s 1988 graduating class, Dave Shore, has seen and done it all in the communications world. 1952 Andersonian celebrated fall homecoming
On Nov. 5, 1952, the Andersonian published a homecoming-recap-themed issue. As the 2016 Ravens prepare for homecoming and the official kick-off of centennial celebrations, the Andersonian looks back to nearly 64 years ago, when Dwight D. AU works to continue increasing enrollment
1,497—that’s the total number of traditional undergraduate students at AU this fall. Although overall enrollment is slightly down since last year, the class of 2020 is one of the biggest classes to come through AU in past years. Indiana Supreme Court Chief Justice Rush visits AU
On Tuesday, Sept. 20, AU celebrated Constitution Day with guest speaker Loretta Rush, the chief justice of the Indiana Supreme Court. Rush spoke in York Performance Hall to a room full of AU students, community members, judges and even a class of high school students from Alexandria-Monroe High School. The cast and crew of the AU fall musical, “Gypsy,” has been working tirelessly to put together an amazing experience for their audience. “Gypsy” is a musical about Rose, the mother of Vaudeville star Gypsy Rose Lee, as together they face the reality of show business. Women’s soccer team continues winning streak
After a 7-0 victory over St. Mary of the Woods, the women’s soccer team improved their winning streak to five. The Ravens dominated from the start, opening the scoring in the fifth minute and staying aggressive for the duration of the match. Beverly Tanner recorded a hat trick, while Halley Embree, Maddie Martin, Courtney Maher and Haleigh Ciampa all added one goal each.
