Each year, the AU community sets aside one week to focus on recognizing and appreciating all of the different heritages that come together to make our community diverse and unique. AU theatre program performs “Regina”
This weekend, AU will be able to witness to what lengths a woman from the early 20th century will go in order to gain control of her financial life. The spring Opera, “Regina” will be premiering this Friday with a cast of talented AU students filling the roles. “Regina” is an opera based on the play “The Little Foxes,” which centers around three siblings, Ben, Regina and Owen Hubbard, in Alabama during the early 20th century, who use all sorts of schemes in order to get rich. TWLOHA holds concert for return to campus
Last Saturday evening, Feb. 13, the AU chapter of To Write Love on Her Arms hosted its first event of the semester—a concert in Mocha Joe’s. The free concert, which was titled “LOVEGROOVE,” featured several acts. Krista Baker, president of the AU chapter of TWLOHA, said that the night’s purpose was to bring awareness of the club to campus. The Wldlfe, a new band featuring AU students Jansen Hogan, Jason Boucouras and Geoffrey Jones, has announced that their first EP, New, is set for release on March 3, 2016. Roadshow, featuring Mandisa, to visit Indy
The 8th Annual Rock & Worship Roadshow will be rolling into downtown Indianapolis this February. With headlining artists Newsboys, Jeremy Camp and Mandisa, Christian music fans will have a chance to hear some of the most popular artists in Christian contemporary music today. Students reflect on time spent studying abroad
Each year, hundreds of thousands of students study abroad. According to the Association of International Educators, approximately 1.5 percent of U.S. college students study abroad. Last semester, several AU students ventured across the world—from the Dominican Republic to Ireland. Ashleigh Ellson, a junior Spanish major, studied in Santiago, Dominican Republic.
