Students spread light to community through campus ministries
AU’s campus ministries program allows students to branch out beyond campus and reach the Anderson community through different ministries. The ministries involve working with at-risk youth and ministry through the arts and prayer. Senior Christian ministries major Mackenzie Fair is one of the co-leaders for campus ministries. Emerging band New Colors adds to campus palette
The one constant that can be found throughout the history of music is change. Genres morph into new sounds based on society’s inevitable shifts; bands form just to sizzle into nonexistence. The sound of music rang through the rooms of the Krannet Fine Arts building as the School of Music, Theater and Dance celebrated many successful camps this summer. New chapel theme encourages community
The new chapel theme for the 2019-20 school year is “Hello, Hope.” A committee made up of faculty, staff and students collaborate to come up with a new chapel theme each spring for the following school year. Dr. Brian Dirck presents at conference in South Korea
On his office door is a name plaque that reads “Professor Bred Birk.” Dr. Brian Dirck’s name was translated from English to Korean and then back to English, and this was the result. Dates and location set for fall spiritual retreat
The fall spiritual retreat for next semester will be held at Epworth Forest, a conference center in northern Indiana, on October 5 and 6.
