Former U.S. Attorney General to speak at AU

Eric Holder, former U.S. Attorney General, is coming to AU on Sept. 19 to speak with national security majors, and then in an open forum in York Hall. He is visiting in honor of Constitution Day on Sept. 17th. Holder served as U.S. Attorney General from 2009-2015 after being appointed by former President Barack Obama. Nursing program boasts 3rd-best NCLEX scores in state

Over the summer, the AU School of Nursing and Kinesiology received news that 98 percent of the graduating nursing majors of spring 2016 passed NCLEX, the national licensing exam for nurses. Of the 57 accredited nursing programs with testing graduates last spring, AU’s NCLEX passing rate was the third highest in the state of Indiana, behind only IUPUI-Calumet and the University of Southern Indiana. Morris on new strategic plan: ‘This is AU’s identity’

AU declines to comment on Pistole, FBI rumors

White House spokesman Sean Spicer said that President Trump was interviewing two candidates on Tuesday for the FBI Director position—former Assistant Attorney General Chris Wray and Anderson University President John Pistole. Rebecca Fuller Beeler, vice president of enrollment and marketing at AU, declined to comment on the search for a new FBI Director. President Pistole declines comment about FBI rumors

President Donald Trump unexpectedly fired FBI Director James Comey on Tuesday. In the hours that followed, AU President John Pistole was named as a potential candidate to replace Comey. Reports have stated that Pistole declined to comment on the rumors. Lynelle Johnson to perform with Anderson Symphony

Lynelle Johnson has been traveling the world for years. Now, after performing across Europe and the United States, the AU alum will be returning to perform at her alma mater with the Anderson Symphony Orchestra Saturday, April 29 in Reardon Auditorium.
