Sidewalk Prophets return to the nest

Just 20 years ago in Smith Hall, student Ben McDonald interrupted student Dave Frey’s “Mario” game to begin a journey neither of them could have predicted. When McDonald asked Frey to join a band he was starting, Frey put down his controller and the two began writing songs. “After the Whistle” brings community and faith to athletics

Small groups have proven to be great opportunities for students with similar struggles or lifestyles to come together to create connections. Tallent cements his place in AU football history

During his freshman season, Zac Tallent recorded 17 catches in one game, one shy of the Anderson record at that time of 18. Soccer field recently named “Fridley Field”

Just a few weeks ago during homecoming, Head Men’s Soccer Coach Scott Fridley received an unexpected gift. Between the men’s and women’s soccer games, a sign for the newly named “Fridley Field” soccer field was revealed. Fridley has been head soccer coach at AU since 1994. Aaron Schneider: The SID behind the scenes

ReStoring faith in humanity

The ReStore of Chesterfield, Ind., a store affiliated with Habitat for Humanity of Madison County, is giving a 25% off discount to Anderson University students on all of their items. Fresh faces to lead AU sports teams

Long-vacant campus pastor role filled

The 2021-22 school year has brought about many changes—especially new faculty and staff members. Among them is AU alumnus Josh Tandy, who has assumed the long-vacant position of campus pastor. Tandy graduated from AU in 2006 with a degree in Bible and religion. After graduating, he worked in youth ministry at a small church in Illinois.
