Freshman Wide Receiver Jarret Dickey put on quite a show, breaking the AU record for most receiving yards in a single game. Volleyball set to begin conference play
The Ravens volleyball team were looking to gain momentum heading into the conference season as they traveled to Jacksonville, Illinois to participate in the Illinois College Invitational. On Friday night, the Ravens split their matches, losing three sets to one against Augustana, before rebounding to defeat Monmouth three sets to zero. Chapel introduces new worship bands
It was announced last year that there would be changes to chapel in the 2016-2017 school year, including revamping the way that chapel worship was organized. Chapel auditions this fall were set up differently than in past years, with audition times set aside for bands and individuals. The bands were then selected for a year-long rotation, rather than pieced together month-by-month as they had been previously. The nervous excitement starts to build as the dancers hear the music beginning to play. As AU celebrates its centennial year, many campus organizations and departments are looking back on their history on campus. The Andersonian, started by a group of students nearly 70 years ago, has a long history of involvement on campus. Debuting new gray jerseys in the football home opener, the Ravens had a packed Macholz Stadium buzzing about the potential for a victory over the visiting Centre College Colonels. Men’s soccer win Raven/Spartan Classic
On a humid, overcast Parents Day, Anderson defeated Blackburn 2-1 in an overtime thriller to win the Raven/Spartan Classic. Anderson advanced to the championship game of the Classic after defeating Moody Bible Institute 3-0 in semifinal play. In the semifinal tilt, Guimps Pierre, Justin Bottorff and Race Williams all recorded their first goals of the season. Campus undergoes renovations for centennial celebration

Junior biochemistry major Ryann Hartzell had the experience of a lifetime this past summer, interning with Spread the Word Ministries, a division of Church of God Ministries, at the Kima Mission Station near Kisumu, Kenya.
