New complementary majors immerse students in multiple fields
In recent semesters, AU has added two new complementary majors to the program list. Students can now pair almost any major with a Christian spiritual formation or music complementary major. Complementary majors are smaller than full majors but larger than minors, are completed in addition to primary majors and can augment students' main fields of study. Computer science students gain real-world experience at AU
This year, AU updated its academic catalog through the addition of new majors and alterations to existing ones. Among the changes came the new Bachelor of Science in computer science. Former SOT dean, congregation begin rebuilding after Harvey
As citizens in Puerto Rico and Turks and Caicos prepared for Hurricane Maria, citizens of Texas were just beginning to pick up the pieces after Hurricane Harvey. AU’s former Dean of the School of Theology, Dr. James Lewis, and his congregation are among those working to rebuild their community in Houston.
