Pistole hosts LGBT+ Forum

Since the Supreme Court Decision this past June, LGBT+ issues have become a big talking point on campus, especially in regard to LGBT+ students. On Feb. 22, President Pistole hosted a forum in order to have a conversation with students, faculty, staff and community members as to how these issues should be handled on campus. TWLOHA holds concert for return to campus

Last Saturday evening, Feb. 13, the AU chapter of To Write Love on Her Arms hosted its first event of the semester—a concert in Mocha Joe’s. The free concert, which was titled “LOVEGROOVE,” featured several acts. Krista Baker, president of the AU chapter of TWLOHA, said that the night’s purpose was to bring awareness of the club to campus. CAB organizes Life-Sized game night in KWC

At the beginning of each semester, the AU Campus Activity Board staff splits into groups of two, and each group comes up with new possible event ideas for the semester. This past weekend, Zach Whitehead, who is a junior on the CAB staff, was one of the staff members in charge of executing an event that he had come up with in December. Dr. Hall visits to celebrate 69th year of Andersonian

Campus activist group strives to end trafficking

In the fall of 2011, Bound was started to raise awareness about human trafficking. “I think it started [because] we see people who are hurting and don’t have the right to be free,” said junior psychology major, Merissa Milnickel, president of Bound. Alumni association hosts inaugural I

Campus was brimming with feelings of love this Valentine’s Day—love for AU, that is. Senate hosts event to call for student interaction

Every Wednesday at 6 p.m. during the school year, Student Senate, a subsidiary of the SGA office, meets to discuss issues facing the student body. More often than not, this comes down to budget concerns for the committee, but also for the approval of the formation of clubs of all shapes and sizes. 98.7 uses rebranding to perform community service

Formerly known as WQME, the new 98.7 The Song is a positive and uplifting radio station that broadcasts throughout central Indiana and is a student media organization at AU. AU senior Ariana Moffitt is a student manager at 98.7 and works with 98.7’s sales/marketing director to record, edit and produce commercials. AUFS seeks improved communication with student body
