“Home” senior gallery brings Korean culture to AU
Korean language and culture is the focus of visual communication design major Heajin Bae’s senior exhibition in the Wilson Gallery. Candles and Carols: large performance, small crew
Candles and Carols has been a holiday tradition at AU for 52 years. The show celebrates the holiday season with the different performance groups at AU. This year, Candles and Carols took place on Friday, Dec. 2 and featured more than 250 student performers. With such a massive production, a committed crew was needed backstage. Ravens give strong performances in busy week
The men’s and women’s swimming team traveled to Lexington, Ky this weekend, competing in the Transylvania Invitational. The men’s team accumulated 117 points, good for a seventh-place finish, while the girls finished with 48, placing them in eighth. Election forum brings context to the issues
Last Wednesday, President Pistole hosted a forum for students and faculty members to discuss the election results. The goal of the forum was to give people at AU an opportunity and a safe place to discuss any thoughts or concerns that they have about what the election results could mean both directly on AU’s campus, and for us as a country. AU staff member joins clean water protest

‘Deathtrap’ set to entice audience with murder
Rick Vale, the stage director of “Deathtrap,” the upcoming fall play at AU, says that “this show is described as a ‘comic thriller’ because it has elements of a murder-mystery as told in a comic way.” Vale and the cast have been rehearsing since Oct. 24, so they will have only been working on the show for a little over a month by the time it premieres. Radaker performs Churchill portrayal on Veteran’s Day
Dr. Kevin Radaker, an English professor at AU, is no rookie when it comes to performing one-man dramatic shows. He has been performing as Henry David Thoreau for 25 years and also has performed as C.S. Lewis for several years. He has now added a portrayal of former Prime Minister of England, Winston Churchill. Women’s team claims first Backyard Brawl Championship
For the first time in extramural history, the women’s team representative from Anderson University, No Punts Intended, won the Backyard Brawl. The Backyard Brawl is an extramural event in which the regular season champions from AU, Huntington University, Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) and Taylor University compete in a tournament to determine the best IM flag football team from all four schools.
