President Pistole provides a new COVID-19 campus update
On Monday, Jan. 12, President Pistole sent a COVID-19 email update stating that “You may not be on campus for classes, dining, attending campus events, etc. if you are not masked.” The email also strongly recommended 3 ply surgical or KN95 masks for better protection against crowded indoor areas. COVID-19 testing required for all students upon return after the holiday break

Just 20 years ago in Smith Hall, student Ben McDonald interrupted student Dave Frey’s “Mario” game to begin a journey neither of them could have predicted. When McDonald asked Frey to join a band he was starting, Frey put down his controller and the two began writing songs. Soccer field recently named “Fridley Field”
Just a few weeks ago during homecoming, Head Men’s Soccer Coach Scott Fridley received an unexpected gift. Between the men’s and women’s soccer games, a sign for the newly named “Fridley Field” soccer field was revealed. Fridley has been head soccer coach at AU since 1994.
