Monday, April 8, the spectacular phenomenon of a total eclipse passed over Anderson, Indiana for the first time since 957. Student artists display talent at music festival
It started as a chilly spring afternoon, an air of excitement and small groups of people scattered upon the grass wrapped in sweaters and blankets, expectant. From February to March, the Wilson Gallery, located on the second floor of Krannart Fine Arts Center, becomes a canvas for the artistic expressions of Anderson University’s current faculty and esteemed alumni. Last Tuesday, on February 20, students were informed that the next day of classes, Wednesday the 21, had a surprise cancellation for the AU tradition of “Wonderful Wednesday.” This year, a variety of events were scheduled throughout the day for students to come and go. The future of AU as an ongoing strategic plan
Last spring, the greater Anderson University community learned of Launch 2040 – a long-term strategy plan for the future of AU. Its name comes from the idea that children born in 2022, the year planning began, will be choosing a college in 2040. Launch 2040 is a multi-stage plan made of initiatives to better serve the student body and attract more students in the future. Students face changes to the FAFSA for the 2024-2025 school year
This year the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is getting a face-lift, featuring a later opening date, new methodology for calculating financial aid, changes to the Pell Grant and more.
