How did each team fare in the Spring Season?

As the 2025-2026 school year closes, here’s a quick recap of all the spring sports teams’ seasons. MENS SPORTS BASEBALL (21-18-1) 5TH IN HCAC In Tyler Rubasky’s first year as head coach, AU baseball stayed consistent. They clinched a spot in the HCAC Baseball Tournament once again, finishing 5th in conference play. Throughout the season, freshman pitchers Braden Richey and Rhet Hackman have thrown great games. Senior Chapel: Recognizing the Class of 2026

As the year comes to a close, the yearly senior chapel sends off the seniors to provide motivation and guidance in a life following God. AU’s Class of 2026 got their final chapel send-off Tuesday. “Don’t sit back and consume” was the message by Business Analytics and Data Science double major Owen Mockabee. Busy Day at the Diamond: Baseball and Softball host Franklin Double-Headers

On a beautiful Saturday, the AU Baseball and Softball teams hosted the Franklin Grizzlies. At Don Brandon Field, the baseball team swept the Grizzlies by a score of 4-2 in both games. Softball was a different story, losing both games to the conference-leading Grizzlies.  BASEBALL The bats were rolling early in game one, Franklin scored a run in the first, and AU answered, scoring three. Baseball and Softball takes off to Florida during Spring Break

During spring break, the AU baseball and softball teams took trips down to Florida to play games. Baseball went 3-3 and softball went 2-4. Softball also had games in Elizabethtown, KY, in which they went winless.  BASEBALL Baseball started their Florida trip on Friday, Mar 6, beating Waynesburg 8-4. AU Basketball Comes to a Close in the HCAC Tournament

Photos by Reuben Crisler The Anderson women’s and men’s basketball teams both came short of a conference championship last weekend in Lexington, KY. The women’s team was eliminated from the tournament Friday afternoon falling to Franklin 81-65. The men’s basketball team won their game on Friday to advance to the championship; it happened on a last second buzzer-beater from senior DeMonte Ferguson to beat Rose-Hulman 74-73. A Thriller and a Blowout: First Round of the HCAC Basketball Tournament

On Saturday, both of the Ravens men's and women's basketball teams were victorious in their first round matchups in the HCAC Basketball Tournament. Both teams had home court with the men being the 2-seed, and the women being the 3-seed.  The women’s basketball team defeated Rose-Hulman 75-68 in a nailbiting game. AU Basketball Takes Care of Business Against Berea

The Anderson men's and women's basketball teams both picked up another conference win against Berea on Saturday at O.C Lewis Gymnasium. The AU men's team beat Berea 91-79, and the women’s team won 72-61. This win moves the men’s team to 15-9, 13-4 in conference play. The women’s team is also now 15-9, and 11-6 in conference play. Ravens’ Swimming and Diving looks to turn the page in the HCAC Championships

This Wednesday, the Anderson men's and women's swimming and diving teams will head to Terre Haute for the HCAC Championships. The tournament will last all the way to Saturday afternoon.  Last year, Anderson placed 5th of seven teams for the men's, and 4th of seven for the women's. Two Games, Two Wins for the Ravens basketball teams

Photos by Reuben Crisler The AU Ravens men's and women's basketball teams hosted a double-header against Mount St Joseph (MSJ) Saturday afternoon at O.C Lewis Gymnasium.  The first game, which was the women’s, saw the Ravens defeat the Lions 77-64. The team moved to 12-8 (8-5 in the conference), and have now won six of their last seven games.  The men's game also resulted in a Raven victory. AU Women’s Basketball prevails over Earlham College

Photos by Reuben Crisler The Anderson Women’s Basketball team defeated the Earlham Quakers 86-74 on Saturday, January 17th. The Ravens improved to 8-7, and 5-4 in conference play, while Earlham dropped to 1-15, and are 0-9 in the conference.  In the first two quarters, Earlham maintained the lead most of the time.
