A Thriller and a Blowout: First Round of the HCAC Basketball Tournament

On Saturday, both of the Ravens men's and women's basketball teams were victorious in their first round matchups in the HCAC Basketball Tournament. Both teams had home court with the men being the 2-seed, and the women being the 3-seed.  The women’s basketball team defeated Rose-Hulman 75-68 in a nailbiting game. Basketball Teams End Regular Season Strong

The AU women’s and men’s basketball teams played their final games of the regular season Wednesday night against Bluffton University. The women’s team hosted Bluffton in O.C. Lewis Gymnasium, while the men traveled to the Sommer Center to face the Beavers.  The women posted a convincing 83-54 win to finish at 16-9 (12-6 in the HCAC). SMPA at a Glance: Months Ahead

AU Basketball Takes Care of Business Against Berea

The Anderson men's and women's basketball teams both picked up another conference win against Berea on Saturday at O.C Lewis Gymnasium. The AU men's team beat Berea 91-79, and the women’s team won 72-61. This win moves the men’s team to 15-9, 13-4 in conference play. The women’s team is also now 15-9, and 11-6 in conference play. AU Called to Lead to Bridge Faith and Leadership for Business Students

Ravens fare well at home indoor track invitational

The Anderson men’s and women’s track and field teams hosted their annual indoor invitational Saturday at the Kardatzke Wellness Center fieldhouse. The collegiate teams competing included Anderson, Earlham, Indiana Kokomo, IU Columbus, Oakland City, St. Francis, St. Mary-of-the-Woods and Union.  St. Mary-of-the-Woods took the overall women’s team title, scoring 115 points. Ravens’ Swimming and Diving looks to turn the page in the HCAC Championships

This Wednesday, the Anderson men's and women's swimming and diving teams will head to Terre Haute for the HCAC Championships. The tournament will last all the way to Saturday afternoon.  Last year, Anderson placed 5th of seven teams for the men's, and 4th of seven for the women's. Morgan Binkerd’s “Vessel”: a story of passion and humanity

The gallery opening of AU alumna Morgan Binkerd of the Class of 2020 will take place next Friday, February 13 from 5 p.m. at Wilson Gallery. Binkerd, who graduated with a degree in English, a minor in writing, and a cognate in visual storytelling, is now a painter and a blog writer with a studio at the Harrison Center in downtown Indianapolis.
