Ricker Family gifts 1 million dollars for Dunn Hall renovations
Anderson University graciously accepted a gift from Ricker Oil founders, Nancy and Jay Ricker, of $1 million to go towards fixing up the dorms, specifically Dunn Hall, due to its lack of renovations over the years. The Rickers decided to donate in response to AU's “Called to Soar” campaign. Long-vacant campus pastor role filled
The 2021-22 school year has brought about many changes—especially new faculty and staff members. Among them is AU alumnus Josh Tandy, who has assumed the long-vacant position of campus pastor. Tandy graduated from AU in 2006 with a degree in Bible and religion. After graduating, he worked in youth ministry at a small church in Illinois. New COVID-19 campus mask mandate in effect
Just four days after sending a “Fall 2021 Update” email about returning to campus, President Pistole sent another email reading: “Effective immediately, August 10, facial coverings worn over the nose and mouth will be required indoors throughout campus.” The email explains that masks are required by all students, employees, guests, faculty and staff regardless of vaccination status. SOMTD position filled by a familiar face
The end of the unique school year parallels the retirement of two significant figures in the School of Music, Theatre and Dance (SOMTD): Dr. Richard Sowers and Dr. Fritz Robertson.
