Ravens fare well at home indoor track invitational
The Anderson men’s and women’s track and field teams hosted their annual indoor invitational Saturday at the Kardatzke Wellness Center fieldhouse. The collegiate teams competing included Anderson, Earlham, Indiana Kokomo, IU Columbus, Oakland City, St. Francis, St. Mary-of-the-Woods and Union. Ravens’ Swimming and Diving looks to turn the page in the HCAC Championships
This Wednesday, the Anderson men's and women's swimming and diving teams will head to Terre Haute for the HCAC Championships. The tournament will last all the way to Saturday afternoon. Last year, Anderson placed 5th of seven teams for the men's, and 4th of seven for the women's. The defending champions for the tournament are the Rose-Hulman men's team, and Franklin women’s team. Morgan Binkerd’s “Vessel”: a story of passion and humanity
The gallery opening of AU alumna Morgan Binkerd of the Class of 2020 will take place next Friday, February 13 from 5 p.m. at Wilson Gallery. Binkerd, who graduated with a degree in English, a minor in writing, and a cognate in visual storytelling, is now a painter and a blog writer with a studio at the Harrison Center in downtown Indianapolis. Meet the student behind AU’s Free Little Library
Last semester, student Sara Wilson opened on Anderson University’s campus a Little Free Library, created to be a location for students and community members to share and trade books. This little library was funded by the Student Government Association (SGA), with the books being provided by the community, and the library itself being built by Sara and her dad. Two Games, Two Wins for the Ravens basketball teams
Photos by Reuben Crisler The AU Ravens men's and women's basketball teams hosted a double-header against Mount St Joseph (MSJ) Saturday afternoon at O.C Lewis Gymnasium. The first game, which was the women’s, saw the Ravens defeat the Lions 77-64. The team moved to 12-8 (8-5 in the conference), and have now won six of their last seven games. AU Women’s Basketball prevails over Earlham College
Photos by Reuben Crisler The Anderson Women’s Basketball team defeated the Earlham Quakers 86-74 on Saturday, January 17th. The Ravens improved to 8-7, and 5-4 in conference play, while Earlham dropped to 1-15, and are 0-9 in the conference. In the first two quarters, Earlham maintained the lead most of the time.
